Annual Financial Overview

St Patrick’s RC Primary School is committed to using public funds responsibly to provide the highest quality education for our pupils. Our financial planning supports school improvement and pupil progress.

Key areas of expenditure include:

  • Teaching and support staff salaries

  • Curriculum resources

  • Building maintenance and site improvements

  • ICT provision and development

  • Support for vulnerable learners, including those eligible for the pupil premium

Financial Benchmarking

We participate in the Department for Education’s Schools Financial Benchmarking service. This allows comparison of our income and expenditure with similar schools.

Governance and Oversight

Our school’s finances are overseen by:

  • The Local Governing Board (via a Finance Committee)

  • The Emmaus Catholic Academy Trust Central Team

  • Independent external auditors appointed by the Trust
